The Budućnost Volija basketball team is set to compete against Spartak tomorrow in Subotica during the 24th round of the Admiralbet ABA League.

This match presents a chance for the Podgorica squad to avenge their previous defeat at home (78:75).

Coach Andrej Žakelj’s team has achieved 20 victories in the league thus far and currently shares the top spot in the standings.

Spartak holds a record of 12 wins and 11 losses.

Commenting on the upcoming match, Žakelj noted that Spartak is a playoff-caliber team now positioned for that goal.

“They are a strong team that performed well in the first game and rightfully came away with the win. We find ourselves in a better place now, but we must remain vigilant about their gameplay. They have two quality players in every position, play effectively, and have ample time to practice and prepare for each matchup,” Žakelj stated.

He emphasized awareness of their threats and strategizing against their attacks on Budućnost. “Maintaining focus and energy will be crucial for us,” he added.

The game at the Dudova Šuma sports hall is scheduled for 19:00.
