Petar Lazović Celebrates the Elimination of Two Skaljari Leaders in Athens

Former secret agent Petar Lazovic celebrated the assassination of two leaders from the Skalja clan in Athens, claiming that the Kavkaz community could achieve a six to zero victory “in that bloody game”.

This came after his associate, Ljubo Milović, reported that Igor Dedovic and Stevan Stamatovic were eliminated in Greece.

On January 19, 2020, the fugitive police officer informed Lazović about the incident, the same day that high-ranking Skaljari members were murdered at the Vari restaurant on the outskirts of Athens.

“Wherever it was, luck was on our side. That’s it. I’ll give you some updates and let’s tally the score,” Lazović responded.

He further requested his interlocutor to “let the old wolf know”…

“Oh, how considerate of me, that’s how it goes for everyone’s benefit. Let Dad know when he arrives, I’ll reach out. He’ll be pleased,” he added.

Dedović and Stamatović were dining with their families when four masked assailants stormed the restaurant, firing multiple shots aimed at their heads and chests, as reported by Greek media.

In Serbia, 19 individuals have been indicted for this crime, including Darko Sarić, Radoja Zvicer, Veljko Belivuk, and Marko Miljkovic

Milinko Brašnović was identified as the primary shooter in Dedović’s murder, and his involvement was discussed at a trial in Belgrade by an associate of the local prosecutor’s office, Bojan Hrvatin

During part of his testimony, N1 reports that he recounted details of the killings of Stevan Stamatović and Igor Dedović, revealing that one of the Brašnjevićs had disclosed that he personally shot Dedović in the head, while Stamatović was executed by an accomplice.

To be arrested or killed?

Days later, Lazović and Milović continued discussing the incident, with Lazović inquiring if Damir Hodzic was responsible for Dedović’s death, suggesting that this Baranin with Kosovo citizenship was working “for Kožar”.

On January 26, he urged Milović to inform Radoje Zvicer, the Kavač clan leader from Kotor, whom he referred to as Committee, that he was available to assist his family if needed.

He also bragged about preventing Hodžić from entering Montenegro days prior, sharing a screenshot of the message with his colleague.

“What does Komita want? To be arrested or sent to Steve and Igor?” he questioned.

The messages indicate that by this time, he had largely aligned the police service with the Kavača criminal organization, remarking:

“Eternal hunting grounds for turs do not serve his interests; let them roar if they can.”

He then expressed his satisfaction that they had “narrowed the list down” further and noted the outcome of eliminating three more of their criminal rivals.

“Weko, Minja in Kan 6:0”…

He was referring to Vjekoslav Lambulić, Milić Minjo Šaković, and Marko Ljubisa Khan.

Šaković was murdered in mid-July 2022 in Budva, documented as a senior member of the Škalja clan, specifically the leader of the Podgorica faction.

A multi-member group associated with the Kavač clan faced allegations of plotting Khan’s assassination.

Tanner and Damir Hadzic were killed six months after this correspondence, in mid-2020, in Greece.

Local media indicated their lifeless bodies were discovered in the parking lot of a villa in Halikounas, Greece.

These murders were also orchestrated through Sky, facilitated by Ratko Živković, known as Zemo.

This infiltrated element of the Kavač clan allegedly received one million euros for these hits, including Stevan Stamatović and Igor Dedović.

On October 14, 2020, in the Stanjevića Rupa neighborhood of Spuž, a member of the Škalja clan’s Bar cell, Damir Hodžić, and his son-in-law, Adis Spahic — who had no criminal background — were murdered.

Their liquidation occurred after they met with Mile Radulović. Prosecutors allege that Marko Kilibarda killed Hodžić while he was restrained on the floor by Veljko Belivuk, with several perpetrators executing Spahić.

According to the Special State Prosecutor’s Office documents, they were met at the location by Živković, Marko Kilibarda, Aleksandar Paunović, Stevan Kraljevic, Belivuk, Nebojsa Jankovic, Marko Miljkovic, Treasures, and Dejan Gasic, alongside three other members of the Kavački Klan, whose nicknames on the encrypted Sky application included ROSI, Kortez, and Home.

The prosecution elaborated that Živković, on Zvicer’s orders, had spent days persuading Radulović to attend the meeting to ensnare him.

Radulović was kidnapped that day and subjected to brutal torture, ultimately being killed later that year.

The prosecution has charged Radoje Zvicer and 30 affiliates of his crime group with the deaths of Hodžić, his son-in-law Spahić, and Radulović, including Nenad Neno Kaluđerović.

Arrest of Lazović

Petar Lazović was apprehended on July 18, 2022, acting on directives from the Special State Prosecutor’s Office (SDT) for allegedly subordinating the police to the Kavač clan’s interests.

Since then, authorities have been searching for his colleague, Ljubo Milović, who faces multiple indictments from the SDT.

These allegations emerged after the SDT, under the then Chief Special Prosecutor Vladimir Novović, revitalized a criminal case in May 2022 based on information that Europol had provided to previous prosecutors in June 2021.

Previously, special prosecutor Sasa Cadjenovic determined in January 2022 that there were insufficient grounds for initiating any criminal proceedings. At that time, the chief special prosecutor was Milivoje Katnic.

Čađenović was arrested on December 9, 2022, on suspicion of being part of a criminal organization, and Katnić, along with Petar Lazović’s father, former police official Zoran Lazović, was arrested on December 14, 2022. They are accused of providing protection to members of the Kavač clan.

Montenegrin authorities, along with international police agencies, are also searching for Radoje Zvicer, whose name was recently added to the list of Europe’s most wanted fugitives following an arrest warrant issued by Austria.

Lazović informed Milović that he had prevented Damir Hodžić from entering Montenegro and questioned what interest Zvicer had in either arresting or eliminating this individual. Notably, Hodžić was killed in October 2020 in Stanjevića Rupa, Spuž.

They will look after their people.

In the same exchange, Lazović informed Milović that he had advised his father, then assistant director of the Police Directorate, to monitor Vasilije Rafailović, who was wanted for a murder in Budva.

He assured that he would do the same for Mario Milošević, but noted that the case had been inherited from Enis Baković.

On that same day, Lazović clarified that the case Milović was interested in, along with “Gazivoda with CT,” was under the jurisdiction of the Criminal Police Sector, but his father would go to the Higher State Prosecutor’s Office “for any assistance”…

“I explained to him that he was clear, that he had gotten rid of everything and that he remained a friend and we are investigating CT,” Lazović documented in that conversation…
