Serbia Triumphs Over Germany, Vičević’s Slovenia Held Scoreless

Once again, Serbia demonstrated its superiority in the second division of the European Championship, as the water polo team secured a decisive victory over Germany (14:6), marking their second win in Group C in Zagreb.
The “Dolphins” showcased an impressive performance with Marko Radulović netting four goals and Dušan Mandić contributing three. Nemanja Vico and Nikola Jakšić each added two goals, while Strahinja Rašović, Nemanja Ubović, and Sava Ranđelović each scored one.
For the Germans, Fin Suca, Denis Štreleckij, and Niklas Šiper were the ones finding the back of the net, scoring two goals each.
Earlier today in the same group, Malta triumphed over Israel with a score of 13:11.
Serbia currently holds the top spot on the table with six points, while Germany follows in second with three. Malta is in third place with three points as well, and Israel sits at the bottom without any points.
If Uroša Stevanović’s squad secures their favorite status against Malta in the final playoff round, they will advance to face the fourth-placed team from the group that includes Montenegro.
In Group D today in Dubrovnik, Romania defeated Slovenia (13:5) under the guidance of Montenegrin coach Mirko Vičević, while the Netherlands clinched an easy victory over Slovakia (17:6).
Romania leads the group with six points, followed by the Netherlands and Slovakia with three points each, while Slovenia remains without any points.
