Suspect arrested for illegal trafficking

Suspect Apprehended for Smuggling Offenses

The Danilovgrad police detained Š.M. on allegations of a criminal offense related to illicit trafficking.

Authorities inspected the vehicle registered in Danilovgrad that he was operating.

“During the vehicle inspection, officers discovered and confiscated 17 packages of dried tobacco, 10 packages known as ‘rice rolls’, two electronic scales, 98 packages of empty cigarette filters, and a diary containing records of individuals and numeric codes,” the Police Directorate stated.

Furthermore, a search was conducted at the apartment and other locations used by Š.M. in Kosić, resulting in the discovery and seizure of 31 packages of dried tobacco and 180 packages of empty cigarette filters.

Š.M. was arrested under the direction of the Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Podgorica on suspicion of engaging in illicit trafficking.
