The goals for Newcastle came from Alexander Isak via a penalty in the fourth minute of added time, Dan Byrne at the 56th minute, and William Osula at the 80th minute.
Ipswich faced a disadvantage starting from the 37th minute when Benjamin Johnson was shown a second yellow card.
Following this match, Newcastle sits in third place with 62 points, while Ipswich’s defeat means they will be relegated, ending the day in 18th place with 21 points.
