Gjeloshaj meets with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of the Slovak Republic

Gjeloshaj Engages with Slovak Republic’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy

The Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Policy and Minister of Economic Development, Nik Gjeloshaj, met today with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of the Slovak Republic, Denisa Saková, who is currently visiting Montenegro.

Deputy Prime Minister Gjeloshaj welcomed the Slovak delegation, emphasizing the strong economic ties between the two nations.

For the Government of Montenegro, the European integration process remains a vital strategic priority—not just for its economic implications, but also for the vision and values represented by the European Union, stated Deputy Prime Minister Gjeloshaj.

Deputy Prime Minister Saková recognized Montenegro’s commitment to the EU integration process and ongoing reforms, assuring that Slovakia will continue to support Montenegro.

The discussions also addressed opportunities to enhance cooperation in various economic sectors, including green energy, infrastructure, tourism, agriculture, and more.

In conclusion, both parties reaffirmed the robust bilateral relations between Montenegro and Slovakia, agreeing to sustain regular communication and advance cooperation in areas of shared interest.
