It has been officially declared that Montenegro and Kotor will host the premier water polo event from April 11 to 13.
The Superfinal of the World Cup will take place at the “Zoran Džimi Gopčević” swimming pool, as confirmed by the International Federation of Water Sports (World Aquatics).
This means that our national water polo team is guaranteed a spot in the final tournament, regardless of their performance in the ongoing qualifications in Otopeni. Additionally, two other teams—Germany and the Netherlands—have secured their places in Kotor through Division 2.
Alongside these teams, the Superfinal will include the top five teams from the qualifying tournament in Romania, excluding Montenegro if they manage to defeat the United States in the quarterfinals tomorrow (16:30)
Besides being a spectacular event, the final tournament of the Super Cup carries significant competitive value, as the top three teams from Kotor will qualify for the World Championship in Singapore.
