The Civil Aviation Agency (CAA) is hosting professional workshops this May aimed at enhancing safety in skydiving and paragliding.

The “Safety in Parachuting” workshop is scheduled for tomorrow at nine o’clock at the “Špiro Mugoša” airport.

“The objective is to refine safety protocols and share experiences related to parachuting, particularly focusing on current challenges and exemplary practices. This training is open to all parachutists, student parachutists, and pilots authorized for parachute ejection. Instructors will be from the region and the Civil Aviation Agency,” the statement indicates.

The “Paragliding Safety” workshop, along with training for paraglider pilot assessors, is set for May 17th at 15:00 at the Agency’s premises. Interested participants can register by May 15th at the following email: agrubac@caa.me.

“This workshop is organized at the agency’s expense and is aimed at paraglider pilots, instructors, tandem pilots, and individuals involved in organizing and executing free flight activities. The purpose is to enhance the safety culture and procedures in paragliding by exchanging experiences and discussing current challenges and practical recommendations. Your participation aids in the shared goal of improving safety in aviation sports,” the statement elaborates.
