Bulls lose to Oklahoma, Boston sets road record

Bulls Fall to Oklahoma; Boston Achieves Road Record

The Chicago Bulls faced a setback against Oklahoma City, losing 145:117 in their second consecutive NBA defeat. Meanwhile, Oklahoma City celebrated its tenth consecutive victory.

Montenegrin national team player Nikola Vučević contributed with 11 points, eight rebounds, and two assists. For Chicago, Jevon Carter led the scoring with 17 points, while Patrick Williams and Taylen Horton-Tucker each contributed 16 points. Josh Giddy also had a notable performance, recording 15 points, 10 assists, and eight rebounds.

Isaiah Joe was a key player for Oklahoma, scoring 24 points in 31 minutes, hitting 8 of 14 three-pointers. Shay Gilges-Alexander added 27 points and 12 assists in just three more minutes on the court.

Throughout the game, Jaylen Williams scored 23 points, while Isaiah Hartenstein added 14 points and seven assists, contributing to Oklahoma’s impressive record of 63 wins and 12 losses, leading over Cleveland, which stands at 60 wins and 15 losses.

The Los Angeles Clippers also had a successful night, defeating Orlando 96:87 and marking their 11th win in the last 14 games.

Kawhi Leonard and Norman Powell both contributed significantly with 21 points each, while James Harden added 20 points, along with seven steals and five assists. Ivica Zubac dominated the boards with 20 rebounds and scored 18 points. Serbian player Bogdan Bogdanović recorded five points, two rebounds, and one block.

Orlando struggled, marking their eighth loss in the last ten home games. Paolo Banchero was the standout player for Orlando with 26 points and six rebounds, alongside Franz Wagner, who scored 21 points with six assists.

In another matchup, Boston triumphed over Memphis 117-103, completing a six-game road series in the West without a loss for the first time in franchise history. Al Horford led Boston with 26 points and eight rebounds, while Jayson Tatum contributed 25 points and 14 rebounds.

Kristaps Porzingis added 19 points, five rebounds, and five assists, Jrue Holiday had 18 points, and Derrick White contributed 14 points, 10 assists, and eight rebounds. Boston’s victories included wins against Utah, Portland, Sacramento, Phoenix, San Antonio, and Memphis, breaking the previous franchise record from February 1973.

The success also enabled Boston to establish a new franchise record of 32 road wins, previously set in the 1972-1973 and 1974-1975 seasons. Golden State (34 wins in 2015-2016) and Chicago (33 wins in 1995-1996) remain ahead in all-time records.

For Memphis, which faced its sixth loss in seven games, Ja Morant led with 26 points, six rebounds, and five assists, while Santi Aldama added 21 points and eight rebounds. Jaren Jackson contributed with 20 points and 15 rebounds.

The Los Angeles Lakers secured a victory against Houston 104:98, strengthening their position in fourth place in the Western Conference. Luka Dončić recorded 20 points, accompanied by nine assists and six rebounds. Dorian Finney-Smith also scored 20 points, including six three-pointers, as did Gabe Vincent.

LeBron James finished the game with 20 points and nine assists for the Lakers, who recently played their 19th game in just 35 days.

Amen Thompson led the way for Houston with 20 points, while Dillon Brooks and Jabari Smith contributed 16 and 15 points, respectively, with Smith also grabbing 11 rebounds. In other actions, Brooklyn edged Dallas 113-109, tying their two-game winning streak since the All-Star break, while Indiana overcame a 16-point deficit in the second half to defeat Sacramento 111-109.

Miami triumphed over Washington 120:94, marking their fifth straight win, while Charlotte ended a five-game losing streak with a 110:106 victory over Utah.
