The debt of the Royal Capital of Cetinje has been cut by approximately 2.5 million euros, as announced by Mayor Nikola Đurašković during today’s session of the Royal Capital Assembly, while discussing the Work Report for 2024.

“Through prudent management and cost optimization, we have successfully decreased the total debt of the Royal Capital by over 2.5 million euros. This achievement reflects our commitment to serious financial consolidation of the city,” stated Đurašković.

He highlighted that financial stabilization remains a central priority for the local government, and policies aimed at reinforcing the economic base of Cetinje will be pursued in the near future.

“We have established a sustainable system that will foster development, attract investment, and enhance the quality of life for all citizens,” he added.

According to a statement from the Mayor’s Public Relations Office, the Work Report not only includes financial metrics but also details projects related to infrastructure, utility services, culture, tourism, and sports.
