Montenegrin Taekwondo Achieves Ten Medals in Karlovac
The Montenegrin taekwondo clubs Besa, Durmitor, and Korio concluded their participation at the renowned “Croatia Karlovac Open” tournament with a tally of 10 medals.
This tournament featured over 650 athletes from 54 clubs across 12 countries, competing for medals in various disciplines, including fighting, form, and kick, spanning all age categories, as well as para taekwondo.
Competitors from Besa secured two gold medals, along with silver and bronze medals apiece.
The gold medals were awarded to pioneers Rina Drešaj (up to 30 kilograms) and Hamza Pepić (up to 57), while junior Ljirija Dibra (over 68) and Barlet Bojaj earned silver medals in forms.
Dibra also secured bronze in forms, joined by Nora Drešaj in kick.
From the Durmitor team, gold medals were won by cadets Gordana Džaković (under 41) and Miljana Jovović (under 47), while cadet Miljana Kasalica (under 33) claimed silver.
Korio’s cadet Nora Rukaj (under 55) took home a bronze medal.
