The basketball team from the Faculty of Civil Engineering is on a winning streak. The “construction” squad secured their fourth consecutive victory in the derby during the fourth round of Group A of the Meridianbet Student League of Montenegro, defeating the reigning champions, the Faculty of Science and Mathematics, with a score of 48:44, marking the latter’s second loss.

Once again, Luka Rakočević (26) emerged as the standout player, leading the “Građevci” to a 16-point advantage at halftime, a lead that proved insurmountable for the defending champions, who only posed a serious threat during the match. Đorđije Tatar (22) was the top performer for the losing team.

The Faculty of Economics had a lackluster showing after four rounds, but turned things around in their next match, edging past the Mediterranean University 42:39, resulting in the latter’s fourth consecutive defeat.

Meanwhile, the basketball players from the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education in Nikšić recorded their fourth win uncontested, as the Faculty of Metallurgy and Technology failed to arrive at the gym on time, leading to an official result of 20:0 in favor of the “Difov” team.

In Group B, the only team with a 33% performance rate is the University of Donja Gorica, which triumphed over the Faculty of Law with a score of 33:22, marking the latter’s second defeat of the season.

The most decisive victory in the fourth round came from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, which soundly defeated the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering (47:26) and reached the halfway mark after four rounds, while their opponent remains winless. The Student Dormitory NK also recorded their second consecutive win and third overall this season, overcoming the Faculty of Biotechnology with a score of 42:26, thus handing them their third defeat.
