Handball cadets will host Italy in the first match of the Mediterranean Championship

Cadet Handball Team to Host Italy in Opening Match of Mediterranean Championship

Beginning tomorrow, Podgorica will be the venue for the under-16 women’s Mediterranean handball championship, featuring nine national teams.

Alongside Montenegro, the teams from Croatia, Italy, Kosovo, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and Turkey will compete in the championship.

This generation of female athletes, born in 2008 and 2009, will be coached by Miloš Perović and Bobana Krstović, with Dobrislav Vujović serving as the expert advisor.

Providing support as the physiotherapist is Anđela Kontić Perović.

During the preliminary phase, all national teams will face off against each other, and on the final day of competition, Saturday, the placement matches will take place.

Kicking off the championship tomorrow at 11:30 a.m., Montenegro will face Italy, followed by a match against Kosovo at 7:45 p.m.
