Beginning today, residents can request interest waivers on outstanding tax debts.

Starting today, residents can apply to the Local Public Revenue Administration of the Municipality of Herceg Novi for a waiver of interest on overdue tax debts, as per the local government’s decision.
“This decision, effective from today, outlines the waiver of interest that has accumulated on tax debts due before December 31,” according to the statement.
Any business entity, part of a business, entrepreneur, or individual who has settled all tax obligations can request a waiver for interest on tax debts, including local taxes, fees, and charges, by no later than June 16.
“To apply for the waiver of interest on overdue tax debts, individuals must use a form available at the registry office of the Local Public Revenue Administration of the Municipality of Herceg Novi or on the Municipality’s website at www.hercegnovi.me,” states the announcement.
The completed form must be submitted to the Local Public Revenue Administration of the Municipality of Herceg Novi within 60 days from the decision being enacted, specifically by June 16.
