Nikšić police located two fourteen-year-old girls, JT and KN.

The girls were found following a search initiated after their disappearance was reported by their parents on the night between Tuesday and Wednesday.

The Police Directorate (UP) officially announced today that they were discovered in an abandoned building with two other minors.

“During the night between April 22 and 23, officers of the Nikšić Security Department were alerted to the disappearance of two minor females: JT (14) and KN (14) by their parents. Acting promptly, the officers located the minors today in an abandoned building alongside two other minors,” the UP statement reads.

The institution further noted that KN had previously been reported missing in October 2024, and she has since been returned to her parents.

Earlier today, Nikšić police informally told Vijesti they were focused on locating the girls.

“We checked several locations where we believed they might be, but were unsuccessful. One girl’s mobile phone was turned off, while the other didn’t have a phone at all. We are actively continuing the search for the girls and have also issued a search warrant,” a Nikšić police representative informed Vijesti informally.
