Đinović Advances to the Tournament Final in Paris
Montenegrin boxer Tomislav Đinović has reached the finals of the renowned international tournament Le Sentjur /Les Ceintures/ in Paris.
A competitor from the Zlatičanin Boxing Club, Đinović secured his spot by defeating French boxer Lee Belhasel by stoppage in the second round during the semi-final of the 60 kg category.
The bronze medalist from the European Championship in Belgrade initially triumphed over Italian Brian Abatangelo by unanimous decision in the opening round of the tournament.
In the final match tomorrow, Đinović will face the winner of the bout between Italian Manuel Gucci and Frenchman Clement Busquets.
Bojana Gojković also progressed to the final yesterday, achieving victory over local boxer Lucy Pauli by unanimous decision in the semi-final fight of the 57 kg category.
Today’s final for Gojković will be against Frenchwoman Marianne Dantan, who overcame Canadian Ušana Seltan in her semi-final bout.
