Another Addition from Brest: Aisatu Kujate, the Promising New Handball Star

Following Jenna Carlson, Podgorica welcomes another player from the vice-champion of France.
Aisatu Kujate, a 28-year-old French right back, has joined Buducnost Bemax, arriving from Brest and set to don the blue jersey for the next season.
Occasionally part of the French national team since 2018, Kujate secured a silver medal at the European Championships in 2020. She is expected to play a vital role in Bojana Popović’s squad next season,” stated Budućnost.
Prior to her time at Brest, she represented both Nice and Besançon.
Kujate marks the sixth new addition for the upcoming season. Alongside Carlson, the Russian Valerija Kirdyasheva has also signed a contract with the two-time European champion, while Montenegrin national team players Đurđina Jauković, Jelena Despotović, and Nina Bulatović have returned to Budućnost.
Montenegrin national team members Armel Atingre, Ivona Pavićević, Ivana Godeč, Andrijana Popović, Tanja Ivanović, Anastasija Marsenić, and Nađa Kadović, along with defender Mari Plamenova Tomova, have renewed their contracts, and additional players from Rudar will join the team.
