Efes Without Bobua for Six Weeks

Efes guard Rodrigo Bobua will be sidelined for a minimum of six weeks due to a calf injury.
“Rodrigo Bobua sustained a left foot injury during the match against Red Star and has undergone an MRI. The diagnosis revealed a partial tear in the calf area. He has begun his recovery process and will be unavailable for at least six weeks,” Efes confirmed in a statement today.
Bobua incurred the injury on Friday while playing against Red Star Belgrade, a game his team won 97:96 in overtime. The Efes guard contributed 10 points during that match.
The French player has been averaging 8.9 points in the Euroleague this season, boasting a three-point shooting percentage of 45.9.
Efes has secured its place in the Euroleague playoffs, currently holding fifth place in the standings with a record of 19 wins and 14 losses as they head into the final round of the regular season.
