Matea Pletikosić, a player from the Montenegrin national team, is continuing her career in her birthplace as she has officially signed with Croatian club Podravka.

Born in Sinj, Matea joins Podravka after her tenure with Romanian team Korona Brasov.

Pletikosić joined Budućnost in 2015 and has been representing our national team since 2020.

She has had two stints with Budućnost, spent time in Crimea, returned to Budućnost (2021-23), and moved to Korona Brasov last summer.

“I’m excited to be returning to Croatia. This is my first time with Podravka, the most successful club in the country, and I look forward to this new challenge. I hope we can create lasting memories and achieve great success together,” stated Matea Pletikosić.
