Montenegro Students Participate in the Regional Western Balkans Cyber Camp
Students from countries in the Western Balkans, including representatives from Montenegro, participated in the Western Balkans Cyber Camp, which took place from May 16 to 18, 2025, in Durres, Albania. The initiative sought to unite students, university delegates, and CIRT teams from the Western Balkans to deepen the understanding of young individuals interested in cybersecurity and ICT.
The camp aimed to create a regional network of emerging cyber experts who will collaborate and help bolster the cybersecurity of our region in the future. By simulating cyber attacks on the Cyber Drill platform, participants were given the chance to apply their knowledge in practical scenarios and enhance their skills in addressing cybersecurity issues.
This event was coordinated by the National Cybersecurity Authority (AKSK) of Albania, with support from the OSCE Presence in Albania, GIZ, the Western Balkans Cyber Capacity Centre (WB3C), e-Governance Academy, and EU-funded initiatives.
At the end of the Cyber Camp, all attendees were awarded certificates.
