In an exciting match, Manchester City triumphed over Crystal Palace with a score of 5:2 in the 32nd round of the Premier League today.

Crystal Palace opened the scoring with an early goal from Eberechi Eze in the eighth minute, followed by Chris Richards extending their lead to 2:0 in the 21st minute.

Manchester City quickly responded, with Kevin de Bruyne scoring in the 33rd minute, and Omar Marmoush leveled the match just three minutes later.

City’s Croatian midfielder Mateo Kovačić netted a goal in the 47th minute to put them ahead, with James Makati adding the fourth goal just nine minutes later.

The game concluded with City’s Nico O’Reilly scoring the final goal in the 79th minute.

Currently, Manchester City holds the fourth place in the league standings with 55 points, while Crystal Palace is positioned 11th with 43 points.

In the next round, both clubs will play away matches, with Manchester City facing Everton in Liverpool, and Crystal Palace going up against Newcastle.

Aston Villa secured a 2-0 victory over Southampton away in their match. Ollie Watkins scored the first goal in the 73rd minute, and Donyell Mullen doubled the lead in the 79th. John McGinn capped off the scoreline with a goal in stoppage time.

Villa’s Marco Asensio notably missed two penalty attempts, one in the 69th minute and another in injury time.

With their fourth successive win, Aston Villa stands 15th in the league, accumulating 54 points—just one point behind Manchester City.

Southampton, unfortunately, has already been relegated, lingering at the bottom of the table in 20th place with only 10 points.

Everton edged past Nottingham Forest with a 1-0 victory, thanks to a late goal from Abdoulaye Doukura in the fourth minute of injury time.

Ending a six-match winless streak, Everton is now 14th in the standings, having collected 38 points.

Nottingham Forest is facing their second consecutive defeat, currently sitting ninth overall with 57 points.

Brighton played to a 2:2 draw against Leicester at home. Joao Pedro scored a penalty in the 31st minute, but Steffi Mavididi equalized in the 38th minute. Joao Pedro scored again from the penalty spot in the 55th minute, only for Caleb Okoli to equalize once more in the 74th minute.

Brighton’s draw was their 12th of the season, leaving them winless in their last four matches, and they occupy the ninth spot with 48 points. Leicester, breaking a nine-game losing streak, is now second to last with 18 points, trailing Wolverhampton by 14 points to escape the relegation zone.
