Rudar will kick off the season under new leadership following the resignation of head coach Vuko Bogavac.

Bogavac stepped down after the team’s recent 4:1 defeat to Kom in the 28th round of the Second Montenegrin Football League.

“It’s not just about one or two bad performances. I evaluated everything, from training to the players’ attitudes and responses after conceding goals, which led me to this decision. After losing our opportunity for direct promotion to the First League, the team has become demotivated. I hope this change will energize the squad. My strong desire to see Rudar back where it belongs was the key factor, which is more important than my role as coach,” said Bogavac, as reported by the PV portal.

Currently, Rudar sits in second place, trailing the leader, Mladost Lob.Bet, by 10 points and having played one additional match.
