The Montenegrin men’s handball team will convene tomorrow in Podgorica as part of the EHF week.
This marks the first meeting of the Montenegrin players since the European Championship in Germany held in January.
Throughout EHF week, Montenegro is set to play two friendly matches against Georgia, serving as a crucial preparatory phase for the May play-offs against Belgium or Italy to qualify for the World Cup.
The roster features players who were key contributors during the European Championship, alongside those who were previously included in broader selection lists.
Defenders Filip Krivokapić and Milorad Bakić from Lovcen are likely to make their debuts in the national team jersey, having impressed the selectors with their outstanding performances while representing the champions of Montenegro.
Coach Vlado Šola has announced the list of goalkeepers: Nebojša Simić, Nikola Matović, and Haris Suljević;
Wings: Miloš Vujović, Aleksandar Bakić, Filip Vujović, Mirko Radović, Luka Radović, and Vojislav Vukić;
Pivots: Vuk Lazović, Nemanja Grbović, Miodrag Ćorsović, Mihailo Šćekić, and Luka Vujović;
Defenders: Radojica Čepić, Filip Krivokapić, Vasilije Kaluđerović, Milorad Bakić, Arsenije Dragašević, Vuko Borozan, Branko Vujović, Stefan Čavor, and Risto Vujacić.
The initial training session at the University of Montenegro gym is set for 18:00.
