Dženeta, Anastasija, and Nikolina: The Top Reciters

Dženeta Trubljanin, a fifth-grade student from “Dušan Korać” Elementary School (mentor Zehra Međedović), secured first place in the students’ category from first to fifth grade at the 47th Municipal Recitative Festival in Bijelo Polje.
Second place was shared by Ajša Numanović, a first-grade student from “Dušan Korać” Elementary School (mentor Andrijana Nišavić), and Sofija Popović, a first-grade student from “Marko Miljanov” Elementary School (mentor Irma Omerhodžić).
Maša Šećković, a fourth-grade student at “Aleksa Bećo Đilas” Elementary School (mentor Tanja Rakočević), and Merjem Mustajbašić, a second-grade student from “Nedakusi” Elementary School (mentor Denisa Erović), took third place.
The 47th festival, hosted at the Public Institution Cultural Center “Vojislav Bulatović Strunjo,” saw participation from 66 students representing 13 elementary and two secondary schools from the Bijelo Polje municipality.
A jury composed of literature professors—Marija Knežević, Izet Erović, and Zoran Sošić—monitored and evaluated the reciters’ performances.
Slavko Vuksanović, a fourth-grade student from “Krsto Radojević” Elementary School (mentor Milovan Furtula), received a special award for naturalness.
In the sixth to ninth-grade category, Anastasija Simonović, a seventh-grade student at “Marko Miljanov” Elementary School (mentor Renata Radulović), achieved first place. Equal second place was awarded to Andrea Kovačević, an eighth-grade student at “9. maj” Elementary School (mentor Magdalena Smolović), and Edina Durmišević, also an eighth-grade student at “21. maj” Elementary School (mentor Lejla Nišić). Third place went to Emina Hodžić, a ninth-grade student at “Šukrija Međedović” Elementary School (mentor Nermina Ličina), alongside Nada Veličković, a ninth-grade student from “Dušan Korać” Elementary School (mentor Anela Šukurica).
Edina Durmišević, an eighth-grade student from “21. maj” Elementary School (mentor Lejla Nišić), received a special award for suggestiveness.
Special recognition for the choice of song, including an original piece, went to Anđela Minić, a seventh-grade student at “Krsto Radojević” Elementary School (mentor Branka Furtula). Nadida Omerović (ninth-grade, “Dušan Korać”; mentor Anela Šukurica) and Emina Hodžić (ninth-grade, “Šukrija Međedović”; mentor Nermina Ličina) were also awarded special honors for their original songs. Nejla Sijarić, a ninth-grade student at “Rifat Burdžović Tršo” Elementary School (mentor Emina Mahmutović), earned a special award for suggestiveness.
Among high school students, Nikolina Barać, a third-grade student at the Secondary Vocational School (mentor Vasilija Rahović), was recognized as the best. Equal second place went to Almina Begović, a first-grade student of the same school (mentor Anđela Varagić), and Ksenija Smolović, a second-grade student (mentor Vasilija Rahović). Third place was claimed by Anastasija Kovačević, a first-grade student at “Miloje Dobrašinović” Gymnasium (mentor Jelena Avramović), and Emilija Smolović, a first-grade student from the Secondary Vocational School (mentor Anđela Varagić).
The special award for original song was given to Snežana Knežević, a third-grade student from the Secondary Vocational School (mentor Vasilija Rahović). The festival was opened by Ena Babajić from JPU “Dušo Basekić” (mentors Rada Gutić and Jelena Rakočević), who recited “Imam pravo” in the revue section.
