Stevan Katić, leader of the “Stevan Katić – We Know Each Other by Deeds” list, announced their most convincing victory yet in Herceg Novi.

“The citizens have acknowledged our efforts—our significant achievements and projects. I am delighted that they see our hard work and that we have won so decisively. This is our strongest performance in Herceg Novi, and we will continue to serve the people’s interests,” Katić stated.

He emphasized their commitment to serving the community, stating, “We are not interested in anything that does not benefit the people.”

“My heart is full, as this marks my second personal victory in just 15 days. I extend my gratitude to everyone—activists, officials. Herceg Novi is in safe hands,” Katić added.

Aleksa Bečić, leader of Democratic Montenegro, remarked that the victory in Herceg Novi is “one of the proudest moments in my political journey.”

“We have achieved one of the most significant victories in Montenegro. It is a proud city with Stevan Katić leading us. From 25 percent in 2017, then 27 percent in 2021, and now over 32 percent after eight years in power. Herceg Novi has affirmed itself as a stronghold of our government,” Bečić commented.

He noted, “Some esteemed authorities from Nikšić have also joined us.”

“The previous government secured a convincing win at the national level. Despite all you’ve seen, the politics of the past from DPS remain in opposition. Thank you for inspiring us with historic results in Herceg Novi and Nikšić to continue our fight and cleanse the security sector of corruption. Montenegro requires a robust system and strong institutions. Following victories in Kotor, Berane, and Podgorica, we have now inscribed beautiful chapters in our party’s history. Herceg Novi, celebrate having such a mayor,” concluded Bečić.
