Following a session at the Kotor Basic State Prosecutor’s Office, 72-year-old Dušan Dudić from Kotor has been placed under detention for up to 31 hours, while 33-year-old Ljubomir Krivokapić, also from Kotor, is under house arrest as mandated by the state prosecutor.

The two suspected associates of the Skalja crime group face accusations of attempting to abduct a young man in Budva yesterday. Sources from “Vijesti” indicate that law enforcement is looking for a third individual involved in the incident.

According to information received by “Vijesti”, a Budva resident who assured a rental car company of Dudić’s return of the vehicle provided a statement to the authorities. He informed the inspectors that he was unaware of the intended use for the car.

Investigators are currently examining whether the Kotor individuals aimed to extort a ransom for the kidnapped man or if there was another underlying motive.

Both detained individuals are known to law enforcement from prior incidents.

Dudić is currently facing prosecution in the Podgorica Higher Court, where he is accused of being affiliated with an organized crime group intending to assassinate several former police and prosecutor officials, as well as an assault on a judge.

After the criminal organization was dismantled, he evaded capture until October 2021, when he was arrested in Bar at a location housing a marijuana cultivation lab.

The Special State Prosecutor’s Office alleges that Dudić was tasked by the group’s leader with breaking the legs and arms of former High Court judge Biljana Uskoković. They also claim he was responsible for surveilling her movements in Kotor for a planned attack. The indictment specifies that he was supposed to use a metal bar during the assault and subsequently dispose of it in the sea.

Authorities continue to investigate whether the Kotor individuals were seeking to demand a ransom…

Dudić has denied the allegations in court, asserting that he does not know any of the defendants involved in the case and that the accusations against him are unfounded.

Prosecutors maintain that the leaders of this criminal group are 31-year-old Stefan Đukić from Bar and Emil Tuzović from Podgorica, both currently incarcerated in a Ukrainian prison since May 2020 on charges of attempting to murder Radoje Zvicer, believed to be a leading figure in the Kavac crime clan.

Evidence suggests that Judge Uskoković was targeted by this criminal group due to her involvement in a case against Đukić and his associates concerning the murder of Baranin Jovan Klisić and the shooting of Velizar Gardašević on November 1, 2019.

Krivokapić received an 11-month prison sentence three years ago for his attempted murder of a close associate of the rival Kavač clan leader, Miloš Radonjić, as well as for illegal possession of firearms.

He had previously been arrested under a Montenegrin warrant in Spain in late August 2020 and was subsequently extradited to Montenegro, which sought him for the attempted murder of Radonjić.
