The showcase of academic artist Anđelija Roglić from Raška, titled ”Trilogy of Transformations”, debuted last night at the Bijelo Polje Cultural Center gallery.

Mladen Blažević, an academic painter from Mojkovac, remarked that Anđelija Roglić’s artworks exemplify minimalism.

“Her drawings are so delicate yet dynamic in expression; ultimately, she manages to make everything clear and precise. This installation features curves and straight lines that require absolute accuracy. Her precision makes this installation adaptable to any space, and for art, one needs both fortune and bravery, qualities that Anđelija possesses,” said Blažević.

The pieces, according to the artist, were created in 2002 during her student years when she first gained recognition in the realm of abstract art.

“Every piece expresses a moment. Each line and shape has stayed within the sphere of abstract art. My lines have evolved along with my personal and professional growth,” she noted, explaining that the exhibition features three entirely distinct cycles, with the line serving as a fundamental element in each.

The event was moderated by Slađana Bubanja Merdović and musically enriched by Itana Leković, a flutist and student from the Bijelo Polje Music School.

Roglić has participated in numerous solo and group shows.

Born in 1980 in Raška, she completed her studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Pristina under Professor Zoran Furunović in 2003. In 2008, she defended her master’s thesis, “The State of the Spirit is a Line,” again under the same professor.
