The third match of the EPCG Women’s Volleyball Super League playoff finals between Herceg Novi and Budućnost will take place in a new city, marking the third location for the title series.
After Kotor, where Herceg Novi hosted the previous match due to venue constraints, and Podgorica, the final destination tonight will again be Herceg Novi – potentially the last game, with the defending champions holding a 2-0 lead in the series.
In a thrilling encounter at the Medical School sports hall in Podgorica, Herceg Novi broke through against Budućnost, winning 3-1 and putting themselves just one victory away from achieving the first triple crown in Montenegrin women’s volleyball history.
Fueled by youthful energy and talent, Budućnost aims to push the series back to the capital. They face the top team in the country, which comes with the challenge of managing fatigue, especially since Herceg Novi’s roster has dwindled to just nine players.
The match at SC “Igalo” is scheduled to begin at 18:00.
