Montenegro presents a wealth of investment prospects, particularly in the tourism sector, stated Abdulla Bin Touk Al Mari, the Minister of Economy of the United Arab Emirates.

During her visit to the UAE, Minister of Tourism Simonida Kordić held discussions with him.

“The discussions included an exchange of views regarding current geopolitical events and their substantial effects on global tourism. Both parties underscored the significance of strong bilateral ties and the ongoing collaboration between Montenegro and the UAE for future advancements in tourism and the economy,” noted the Ministry of Tourism.

Al Mari expressed admiration for Montenegro’s natural beauty and its investment possibilities.

Minister Kordić informed her counterpart about the ongoing development of a new Tourism Strategy for Montenegro, which aims for balanced progress across all regions.

“Beyond the established coastal areas, Kordić highlighted the potential of the northern regions for mountain, winter, rural, adventure, and various other types of tourism, while the central region is well-suited for MICE tourism,” the statement read.

The meeting also saw the presence of State Secretary Vuk Žižić.
