Montenegro’s Volleyball Federation Collaborates with the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education by Signing Cooperation Agreement

Today in Nikšić, Nikola Kažić, the President of the Volleyball Federation of Montenegro, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jovan Gardašević, the Dean of the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education, formalized a cooperation agreement. This agreement aims to enhance volleyball and train professional personnel, alongside realizing collaborative projects.

The signing ceremony was graced by the presence of Ivan Bošković, Secretary General of the Armed Forces of Montenegro, and MA Marko Joksimović, representing the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education.

The Faculty of Sport and Physical Education commits to providing comprehensive support through the organization of lectures, seminars, workshops, and various forms of professional development. Additionally, the faculty will conduct evaluations of the anthropological status of volleyball players across all representative teams, emphasizing work with younger athletes.

“I am delighted that we signed this cooperation agreement with the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education today in Nikšić. I consider this document instrumental in fostering our institutions’ synergy and enhancing our collaboration, all aimed at developing volleyball players in Montenegro. My gratitude goes to Dean Jovan Gardašević and his team for their past efforts in enhancing our partnership, which has led to this significant agreement,” stated Kažić, adding:

“We will undoubtedly benefit from the unwavering support of the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education, especially concerning professional staff training, seminar organization, and diagnostics that will assist us in overcoming challenges faced by our young volleyball players. Our goal is to prepare them as effectively as possible for more competitive endeavors, thereby establishing a stronger foundation for volleyball development in Montenegro. Our younger category representative teams will undergo frequent evaluations, and we aim to identify necessary steps to enhance their performance quickly and efficiently, ultimately benefitting both our national teams and the individual careers of the young athletes today,” remarked Nikola Kažić, President of the OSCG.

Dean Jovan Gardašević expressed his approval of the partnership, noting that the Volleyball Federation of Montenegro is on a positive trajectory.

“We are thrilled that the Volleyball Federation of Montenegro has recognized our institution as a valuable ally in future coaching staff development and athlete diagnostics. We look forward to potentially deepening our collaboration with all federations in Montenegro. Mr. Kažić and his associates have commenced a promising journey, and I am confident that the Volleyball Federation of Montenegro will continue to ascend through the results shown by their teams. As a partner institution, we are eager to contribute to that success,” conveyed Dean Gardašević.
