“Spain Defeats France to Claim the Bronze Medal”

The Spanish water polo team has clinched the bronze medal at the World Championships in Doha.
They secured their victory against France with a score of 14:10 in the match for third place today.
This marks the third bronze medal for the Spanish national team at the world championships, having also finished third in 2007 and 2023.
Spain has triumphed as world champion three times (1998, 2001, 2022), in addition to finishing four times as runners-up with silver medals (1991, 1994, 2009, 2019).
At the recently concluded European Championship, the team emerged as champions.
The new world champion will be determined in the upcoming match between Croatia and Italy, scheduled for 15:30.
Prior to that, Serbia and Greece will compete for fifth place at 14:00.
