Herceg Novi Claims Advantage in the Final Series
The volleyball team of Herceg Novi kicked off the final series of the EPCG Super League playoffs with a victory.
They triumphed over Buducnost Volej with a score of 3:1 (26:24, 25:19, 13:25, and 25:21) today in Kotor during the opening match of the finals.
The defending champions secured their win after an hour and 33 minutes of intense play.
Ralitsa Vasileva, the team’s captain, was the standout performer for Herceg Novi, scoring 20 points, while Gordana Madžgalj added 12 points, and Daria Čabonenko contributed with 11 points.
The leading player for the Podgorica side was Mileva Magdelinić, who scored 15 points.
The finals are contested in a best-of-five format.
The next match is set for Monday in Podgorica.
