The President of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian entity Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, proclaimed tonight in Batajnica that Serbia must reconnect with its core identity and regain its strength, a strength he claims has been diminished by “aimless protests.” He believes that Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić is the sole individual capable of facilitating this restoration.

During the commemoration of the Day of Remembrance for the Victims of NATO Aggression at the “Colonel-Pilot Milenko Pavlović” airport, Dodik emphasized that Vučić must persevere, asserting, “he is the only one who can restore strength to Serbia.”

“It is crucial for Serbia to realign with itself, to consolidate its strength, and to rise again, rather than losing that strength through meaningless gatherings lacking any clear objective. The true aim is to diminish the power of the Serbs,” Dodik stated.

He conveyed that the Serbs from Republika Srpska desire a robust Serbia, as they understand that without a strong Serbia, they remain vulnerable to new usurpers and falsehoods, much like during the NATO bombardments, perpetuated in the name of fabricated universal justice.

“We do not anticipate them supporting us, but they should at least strive for objectivity. Therefore, Mr. President Vučić, it is essential that you rally your inner strength and restore order in Serbia, providing the stability you have shown you can deliver,” Dodik added.

Dodik remarked that “those obstructing Serbia today are mistaken,” for they “support those who wished for the Serbs to forget what NATO inflicted upon them.”

“Serbia must rediscover its strength to once again become the most advanced economy in Europe and a significant player in international politics. The individual capable of achieving this is Aleksandar Vučić, which is why we in Republika Srpska pledge our full confidence in him,” stated Dodik.

He highlighted that following the NATO bombing, Serbia was deemed a “lost and defeated country,” and credited Vučić with rejuvenating the nation over a mere decade.

“As we reflect on March 24th today, we recognize that just 10 or 12 years ago, the situation was starkly different. Some wished for this (NATO bombing) to fade into oblivion, to be forgotten, perhaps hoping we would one day express gratitude for their actions. It all seemed hopeless until Aleksandar Vučić, Toma Nikolić, and their associates asserted that we must not forget,” he remarked.

Dodik also stated that today, Serbs are commemorating “the reality that NATO, that formidable force,” bombed Serbs on two occasions: first in Republika Srpska in 1995 and subsequently in Yugoslavia in 1999.

“NATO acted without hesitation and without legitimate international backing; it was motivated by a mere sense of pleasure. They justified their actions as crimes, then withdrew, while others claimed it was in the past. No, it is not a relic of the past; it still lingers painfully today, as none of those responsible for that injustice and crime have been held to account,” Dodik asserted.
