Primorje and Jadran Secure Early Championship Victories

Jadran triumphed over Budva with a score of 17:6 in Herceg Novi.

Meldin Hadžić stood out for the winning side, contributing four goals, while Strahinja Gojković added one more.

Tadija Matijašević was the top performer for Budva, netting three goals.

Meanwhile, Primorac celebrated a victory against their Kotor rivals, Qatar, with a score of 20:9.

Srđan Janović and Anatoli Jevdokušin led the way for the former European champions, each scoring four goals.

For the Qatar team, Ljubomir Kovačić, Draško Samardžić, and Dušan Milaš each contributed two goals.

The Montenegrin championship will follow a home-and-away format; after six rounds of league play, teams will advance to the playoffs in pursuit of the trophy.

In the upcoming second round on March 2, the matches will feature Primorac facing Budva and Kataro taking on Jadran.
