Lecce managed a home draw against Venice (1:1) in the 31st round of Serie A, bringing an end to a five-match losing streak.

Nikola Krstović’s squad sits 17th with 26 points, just three above Empoli, who are in the relegation zone and have a game in hand. Lecce hasn’t won in eight consecutive matches, with their last victory on January 31st against Parma.

The first half saw few opportunities, but the visitors opened the scoring early in the second half when Gallo accidentally scored an own goal.

Lecce equalized in the second half, with a corner from Halgason leading to a goal by Baskiroto.

After leveling the score, Lecce had a chance to take the lead, but Endri hit the post. In the dying moments, Radu denied another attempt from Baskirota.

Nikola Krstović played the full match but was unable to score.

In their next outing, Lecce will face Juventus away from home.

Atalanta was once in contention for the Scudetto, but three consecutive defeats have raised doubts about their Champions League prospects.

Their latest defeat came at the hands of Lazio, who secured a 1-0 victory in Bergamo thanks to a goal from Isaksen (with Adam Marušić on the bench), reigniting their hopes for a European spot.

Atalanta continues to seek their first home win in 2025, having gone winless in six games.

Roma and Juventus ended in a draw at the Olimpico, complicating their pursuits for a top-four finish.

Locateli put the “old lady” ahead in the first half, but Šomurodov equalized later in the match.
