Lovćen Advances Toward Elite Barrage as Rožaje Match Postponed Due to Snow
The Lovćen football team triumphed over Iskra with a score of 2:1 in today’s match, held on neutral ground in Nikšić during the 24th round of the Second Montenegrin League.
Leading the Cetinje team to their 11th victory were Balša Radusinović, who scored in the 11th minute, and Boško Guzina, who added another in the 54th minute.
Iskra’s only goal came from Danijel Jovanović, who found the net in the 87th minute.
Lovćen maintains a solid third place on the table, comfortably within the elite play-off zone. The team, managed by Vladimir Savićević, holds an eight-point advantage over fourth-placed Igalo, who faced a surprising 1:0 defeat against Kom in Podgorica.
The last-placed team, benefitting from three crucial points, had Luka Mihaljević scoring in the third minute of stoppage time.
The match between Podgorica and Grbalj concluded in a draw, ending 1:1 at the DG Arena.
Miloš Vračar opened the scoring for the home side in the 30th minute.
Marko Mujović equalized for Grbalj in the 67th minute, securing the final score.
In a bid for victory, the home team nearly clinched three points in the closing moments, but Kristijan Radunović’s penalty attempt was saved by David Bjelica in the 82nd minute.
The encounter between Ibar and Mladost has been postponed until tomorrow.
