Budva’s Young Water Polo Players Successfully Defend Their Title

The young water polo athletes from Budva, born in 2010 and later, successfully defended their title as champions of Montenegro.
The Budva team secured first place in their group, outperforming Jadran and Primorje due to a superior goal difference in their matches. All three teams recorded the same results – three wins and one loss against each other. Ultimately, Budva had the best goal difference.

Budva triumphed over Primorac with a score of 14:8 in their first match, but suffered a narrow defeat against Jadran, losing 10:9. Primorac managed to defeat Jadran 9:7 in their final match.

By the end of the competition, Budva had a goal difference of plus four in that triangular matchup, while Jadran had minus one and Primorac minus four. All three teams also registered wins against the teams from Mladost in Bijela and Nikšić. Mladost ultimately claimed the fourth position after defeating Nikšić 11:6. The medals were awarded to the young athletes from Budva by the national senior team’s coach, Vladimir Gojković.
