Cadets Tie with Romania
The Montenegrin cadet football team drew against Romania in the opening match of the international tournament.
There were no goals scored at the Romanian Football Federation Training Center, although our team came close to securing a victory.
The “falcons” had their best opportunities created by Nikola Vukojem, Petar Vujović, and Luka Marković.
Coach Radovan Kavaja commented, “We engaged in a highly competitive match at the start of a challenging tournament, where the skill level was evenly matched among all three competing teams. Aside from a few technical mistakes and occasional lapses in concentration, I am pleased with how we performed during the game. We have strengths in our play, and when we execute them consistently, we pose a significant threat to our opponents.”
Montenegro will face Poland on Saturday.
Our national team was composed of: Adnan Čekić, Luka Marković (90+2. Andrej Kumburović), Blagoje Uzunovski, Lazar Popović (83. Stefan Nedić), Matija Rakčević (83. Andrej Bulatović), Mark Đokaj (65.
