“Student at Cetinje’s ‘Petar Lubarda’ Secondary Art School Interrogated; Director’s Report Under Review”

Authorities have identified a minor accused of making threats to shoot at the “Petar Lubarda” High School of Fine Arts located in Cetinje.
According to a statement from the Police Directorate, the individual in question is a student at the school and resides in Tivat.
Sources tell “Vijesti” that the student denied making any threats.
It has been reported that the alleged threats were communicated via a message in a Viber group directed at other students.
Officers from the Tivat Security Department notified the on-duty prosecutor about the situation after the principal of the “Petar Lubarda” Secondary Art School in Cetinje filed a complaint regarding a student’s threats involving a firearm towards classmates on a Viber group.
“Following this, information was gathered from the student, who is enrolled in part-time classes in Cetinje, regarding the circumstances surrounding the incident. The Cetinje Security Department is conducting a criminal investigation to verify the claims made in the report and to gather information from students and staff who were made aware of the situation,” the police stated.
The Police Directorate emphasized that they are working to ascertain the facts concerning the alleged threatening message and its content.
“In close collaboration with the relevant prosecutor’s office, comprehensive actions are being undertaken to gather critical information that may confirm a potential threat. Officers from the Police Directorate will implement specific measures to ensure the safety of the school and its vicinity, which also houses two other educational institutions,” the announcement added.
