Croatian President Zoran Milanović had to delay the beginning of his official visit to Montenegro by one hour.
Instead of the scheduled time of 15:30 p.m., the arrival of Milanović, accompanied by his wife Sanja Music Milanović, and the ceremonial welcome at Villa Gorica was moved to 16:30 p.m.
The reason for the postponement was clarified by the Croatian President’s office.
“The commencement of President Milanović’s official visit to Montenegro was delayed because the official aircraft was unable to depart from Zagreb at the previously arranged time, as the plane was utilized by the Prime Minister of Croatia, Andrej Plenković, for his trip to Dubrovnik,” the statement explained.
It further noted that the use of the official aircraft for Milanović was sanctioned on March 18, with the Government’s Directorate for Official Aircraft confirming his flight from Zagreb to Podgorica on March 26 at 14:05 PM.
“Despite this, the aircraft was unable to take off from Zagreb to Podgorica as per the agreed timetable because the Prime Minister’s use of the official plane to Dubrovnik was communicated to the President’s office with a delay of one and a half hours,” said the statement from the Office of the President of Croatia.
