In Podgorica, which constitutes a third of the electoral electorate, the coalition headed by the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) has secured 38.2 percent of the votes, according to the data center for democratic transition after processing 200 out of 208 polling stations.

The data indicates that Podgorica’s mayor representative Ivan Vukovic is unlikely to maintain leadership in the capital. Analysts are pondering the feasibility of other parties collaborating without Urical ABAZOVIC to form a government.

The newly-formed movement “Europe USA”, led by Jakov Milatović, a former minister in Zdravko Krivokapić’s government, has received 21.8 percent of the vote.

The Democratic Front – “For the future of Podgorica” has garnered 18.1 percent, while Ura – Civis – Albanian alternative – “Podgorica is our city!” has 6.3 percent, “Reversal” – Democrats – Demos – UCG – “Let’s go to Podgorica” stands at 2.7 percent, and “Saving for Nemanjin City” at 0.2 percent, as per CDT reports.

Based on these figures, “everyone for our city” has won 24 seats, the “Europe USA” movement secured 13, “for the future of Podgorica” obtained 11, “Let’s go” claimed six, and “Podgorica is our city!” got four mandates.

According to CDT data, the Democratic Front elected MILL BOŽOVIĆ as the President of the Municipality, necessitating no coalition partners to exercise power in the capital city of tourism. The DF achieved 18 mandates, while the DPS came in second with only nine.

The Democratic Montenegro-Demos list has captured four seats, while the Socialist People’s Party and Civil Movement Hurries have each secured one term.

With over two-thirds of samples processed, representatives from the democratic front and democratic Montenegro have proclaimed an absolute majority.

The DF received about 40 percent, while the Democrats garnered around 20 percent, and the DPS around 25 percent of the votes, as reported by Srna.
