The Montenegrin handball team suffered a more decisive defeat in their second friendly match against Greece in Thessaloniki, finishing with a score of 37:27.
In their first encounter, the team lost 29:25.
The Greek team maintained the lead throughout the match, while coach Didija Dinar’s squad struggled without eight players who participated in the Euro qualifiers in November.
Arsenije Dragašević was the standout player, netting six goals, while both Stefan Čavor and Miodrag Ćorsović contributed five goals each.
Aleksandar Bakić added three goals to the tally, and Mirko Radović, Luka Vukićević, and Risto Vujacić each secured two goals.
Debutants Darko Đurković and Vojislav Vukić also found the net.
These matches against Greece provided an opportunity for coach Dinar to assess players with less experience and gauge their readiness to support the main roster.
The next significant matches will take place in March, where the “lions” will compete in a double-header against Hungary as part of the qualifiers for EHF Euro 2026.
