Montenegrin judokas eliminated at the start of the championship

Montenegrin Judokas Knocked Out Early in Championship

Montenegrin judokas Slobodan Vukić, Jovana Peković, and Jovana Mrvaljević concluded their participation at the European Championships in Podgorica in the initial round.

Vukić faced defeat against Austrian competitor Movli Borčašavli in the over 100 kilogram category.

Peković was eliminated by Ana Monte Olek, the fifth-ranked German judoka in the world, in the 78 kg category.

Mrvaljević lost to Austrian judoka Marija Horvat in the over 78 kilogram division.

On Sunday, the championship’s final day, the Montenegrin national team will make its debut in the team competition.
