Karate Club Omladinac has emerged as the top performer in the Montenegrin Championship for beginners, pioneers, and hopefuls held in Kolašin.
Representing Podgorica, the club concluded its championship journey with an impressive haul of seven gold medals along with three each of silver and bronze.
The young athletes have brought home the trophy after a decade-long wait in the categories for upstarts, pioneers, and hopefuls.
Kobra Kai, another Podgorica club, secured the second spot, winning five gold medals alongside two silver and two bronze.
Completing the podium was Mladost from Podgorica, which achieved five gold and four bronze medals.
The karatekas from Bar finished fourth, netting four gold, seven silver, and 14 bronze medals, whereas Gorštak placed fifth with 4 gold and 9 bronze. Potoci occupied the sixth position with 3 gold, 4 silver, and 10 bronze medals.
A total of 25 clubs have participated as national champions in the children’s categories.
The Kolašin championship gathered an impressive 462 competitors from 40 different clubs.
