Week of Mourning in North Macedonia After the Tragedy in Kočani
The North Macedonia Government is set to announce seven days of mourning in response to the recent tragedy in Kočani during today’s session.
According to Sloboden Pečat, the session will also produce a decision for an urgent and thorough inspection of all nightclubs, discos, and restaurants that host parties.
Recent reports indicate that 59 individuals lost their lives in the fire that erupted at the “Puls” discotheque in Kočani.
Additionally, 155 people sustained injuries and are currently receiving treatment in various hospitals throughout the nation.
Of these injured, 18 individuals are reported to be in critical condition, as stated earlier by the North Macedonia Ministry of Health.
