Detention of up to 72 hours for suspect in bakery theft

Suspect in Bakery Theft Held for Up to 72 Hours in Detention

The Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Podgorica has authorized the detention of a suspect, DP, for a maximum of 72 hours on grounds of reasonable suspicion regarding the crime of theft.

According to the Podgorica Public Prosecutor’s Office, “The suspect allegedly stole and unlawfully took the wallet belonging to the victim, SM, at the ‘M.’ bakery located in Golubovci, Zeta municipality. The wallet contained the victim’s personal documents, a bank card, and an amount of 1,300 euros.”
