I’m Coming Back to RS Next Week!
The President of Republika Srpska (RS), Milorad Dodik, stated in Jerusalem that he intends to return to Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) next week.
“I will resume my activities. I have some significant commitments ahead for RS in the upcoming days, and I will return to RS peacefully next week,” Dodik mentioned today, as reported by Radio-Television RS (RTRS) and noted by Danas.
He criticized the BiH Court’s decision to issue an international arrest warrant for him and RS Parliament Speaker Nenad Stevandić, labeling it as yet another misuse of the judiciary for political purposes.
Dodik attended a conference in Jerusalem focused on combating anti-Semitism, organized by the Israeli Ministry of Diaspora.
He traveled to Israel from Belgrade, where he participated in a commemoration on March 24th marking the anniversary of NATO’s bombing of Serbia.
The BiH Border Police have initiated an investigation into how he traveled from BiH to Serbia, considering a central arrest warrant was in effect at that time, which should have legally barred him from leaving the country.
