Playing on home turf, the “Sirens” leveraged their advantage, but the Podgorica squad proved to be a formidable challenger, fighting hard to avoid losing any sets easily.

The first set saw Luka Bar initially take control, boasting a 24:18 lead with six set points. However, Luka Bogojević’s team staged a comeback with a fantastic series that tied the score at 24:24 and even led 25:24. After a fierce battle, the home team ultimately clinched the set 28:26.

Buducnost led for much of the second set at 19:14 and had an opportunity to tie at 22:19. Yet, a pivotal contribution from Dušanka Petrović and her teammates turned the set around, allowing the home side to secure a 2:0 lead.

The final set began with an early advantage for the Baranciers, who maintained control until the end, wrapping up with a score of 25:21 for a 3:0 victory in sets.

Mileva Magdalinić, captain of Buducnost, was the standout performer, scoring 15 points, while Milena Ćetković and Lana Rakočević contributed 11 and 9 points, respectively. For the winning team, Dijana Vuković led with 14 points, alongside Teodora Čavić and Aieska Ferreira, each adding 11 points.
