The Accomplishment of Buducnost Volleyball Players
The Buducnost volleyball team showcased an impressive comeback on their home court, securing a victory in the EPCG Super League playoffs semi-final.
The Podgorica squad triumphed over Luka Bar with a score of 3:2 (19:25, 13:25, 28:26, 25:15, 15:7) after 90 minutes of exhilarating volleyball, marking one of the season’s most significant wins.
Initially, things appeared to be going smoothly for Vladimir Milačić’s team, as the “Sirens” seemed poised to easily reach another championship final. Luka Bar took the first set 25:19 and limited the hosts to just 13 points in the following set.
In a dramatic turn, the third set became one of the best of the season, with Buducnost saving three crucial match points against them (23:24, 24:25, 25:26). Luka Bogojević’s players found their momentum, fighting back to take the set 28:26.
With newfound energy, they dominated the fourth set 25:15, and their motivation carried them through to a final score of 15:7, setting up a clash at SC “Topolica” on April 12th.
Buducnost captain Mileva Magdelinić had an outstanding match, contributing 17 points, which was two more than Kristina Božović. Sara Belojević added 11 points, while Milena Ćetković, the middle blocker, played a key role with nine points in the win.
On the opposing side, Teodora Čavić scored 13 points, Dušanka Petrović netted 11, and Vittoria Aieska added nine, with Luka Bar earning half of its total 98 points due to the errors of Buducnost.
