Primorac Crowned Junior Champion of Montenegro
The Primorje juniors, consisting of players born in 2006 and later, have secured the championship title of Montenegro.
The young water polo athletes from Kotor claimed first place in the tournament held at their home pool, competing against Jadran, Qatar, and Budućnost.
The pivotal match occurred in the first round, where Primorje triumphed over Jadran with a score of 16:15 (1:2, 6:3, 3:5, 3:3, and 3:2) after an intense five-goal showdown.
The Kotor squad also outperformed Qatar in a remarkable comeback, finishing 12:10 (4:5, 0:3, 5:0, 3:2), and decisively defeated Budućnost 19:6 (7:0, 5:1, 4:4, 3:1).
Jadran secured the second position, having bounced back from their loss to Primorje by achieving two victories against Budućnost, with a score of 17:5 (3:1, 4:1, 6:2, and 4:1), and Qatar, winning 16:11 (3:1, 6:1, 1:5, and 6:4).
Katar finished in third place after defeating Budućnost 17:14 (5:0, 7:3, 3:4, and 2:7).
